Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Ocean View,Supercommuter,Stuff

Another Hard as Nails polish XD I keep getting this right, left and center it seems. Pow! XD What in the world, this is the last one of them though. Still need to get through the HD's.

This one is Ocean View, and the color is OMGWTFBBQ striking, but the formula, ahhh. Blech. That runs into a couple of problems, at least with this particular bottle for me.

Three thickish coats and it is still baldish, maybe a fourth would have helped but it was already so thick on the nail and from the pictures you can see where it pooled at the sides and cuticles as well as the brush stroke party and how even there you can see how unforgiving it was to show imperfections of my nails from the false ones. Check out the index nail. Ugh!

Also it chipped and off a couple of nails on the first day, and on day two had raging tip wear. But, I'm wondering how much of that goes down to humidity interfering with how the polish dries, Poshe can only do so much. So I'm going to try this again on a cooler and drier day, because it is really lovely and hoping maybe a lot of what goes on can be attributed to the weather and the state of my growing out nails.

You know me, I'm loathe to have a poor review of anything.

Three coats, top of Poshe. Indoors.

Outside, sunlight.

First off check out this Amazing Post at Hipster,Please!. So nice, I repped it twice. The Supercommuter album is finally ready! It can be purchased here as a pre-order, but via email you get access to the album early as a digital download in several formats to listen to while waiting for the physical copy.

Let me tell you, it is pure bliss. No one can flow like Wheelie! I really do not want to know how many times I have listened to Life is Grand it is just an amazing, amazing, amazing track. How is that for eloquent? Every element is spectacular, the music is just laid together so perfectly. I couldn't be more thrilled with this album. So worth the wait! Can not recommend it enough.

If you've been having missing the Optimus...

Tomorrow I'm going to see lolWWE with a bunch of family and friends, we have a whole row (nearly), it's at a tent show no less, been to it there a few time over the years and it's massively entertaining. Will need to empty my phone to take some pictures. Because you can on the sly with your phone if last year was any indication. Emptying my phone is a lot harder than it should be though, so that will be fun. My nephews are super psyched already. ^^

Polish Ahoy. Or at least some!

Alrighty, finally have a picture (hot grainy camera phone action!) of my collection, albeit partial, there are still some in storage containers and of course the fantastic stuff that's incoming! Wahey! The picture is pants, but you can see the first two and a half rows showing my old Urban Decay and Hard Candy/Candy Man collection! Most of the Hard Candy still applies like a dream. Blech the picture cuts off a little to fit the page layout.

Found a nail polish thinner that I had to resurrect some UD polishes, but luckily I didn't go hoss and do a bunch. Usually I look at ingredients, unfortunately not this time as it was ridiculously full of acetone. Sigh. So my S&M polish is this gross white chalk now. However it did revive Twisted Sister to perfect consistency. But now I have Seche Vite Restore Thinner on the way, which I'd read about on Scrangie. It is a great post too, look how she was able to restore a clumped up dry bottle of L'Oreal Bijou Crystals polish. I mean that thing looked gone!

Just hoping it can restore my Asphalt or a decrepit Frostbite!

My nephews both dig the ManGlaze shades. One is sporting Fuggen Ugly right now! Heheh.

Joint birthday thing today! Should be fun. ^^

Again another reminder to head to Hipster,Please! to pick up Optimus Rhyme's TransfORmed! Huzzah Dub Cyber!

TransfORmed, still time to dl it for free!

Apparently you can only still snag Optimus Rhyme's TransfORmed for free via Hipster,Please! for a short while now, so grab it quickly! It is also available on Itunes as well, inexpensively-plus you get two tracks not on the free d/l which are fantastic covers of Guns of Brixton and Train in Vain. So it's certainly worth buying as well. Eventually it will be available as a cd to purchase I've heard. All the songs are brilliant, Daryl Hannah is just phenomenal.

Words

Hmm, so I got a tube of Breath Palette's toothpaste as a gift in Pumpkin Pudding flavor this christmas (thanks Amanda!) in my stocking. Straight out the gate I was mildly grossed out yet intruiged, tooth paste in Pumpkin Pudding flavor? What, why, how? All of those.

However, it is super tasty to my surprise. A big ol fan of pumpkin, this tasted more honey like then pumpkin but using it, now crest and colgate may have to take a permanent backseat. Showroom clean every time, feels like being back from the hygienest each use, my old brands just can't come close to it. Doesn't feel as harsh.

Have to laugh though at the slogan 'Experience the flavor. Enjoy the menthol finish.' Sounds like a late eighties Newport ad.

A lot of the flavors sound quite good, but for me entirely questionable is Bitter Chocolate and Cola. Doesn't sound palettable when you want for that fresh clean feeling. Nothing sounds as refreshing as say brushing with flat Cola. Wondering about giving the Rose or Lavender a go. The mouthwash flavors sound interesting too.

Alright enough of that. Head to Hipster Please! and download Optimus Rhyme's amaaaazing holiday EP
TransfORmed. Everything and more than you could want from Optimus Rhyme. Perfect and made of win. Also Hipster Please! is fantastic, check it super often -totally the best of what's nerdy!

How good does this sound? Love the description, thinking of sometime splashing out for a bottle. Wine's not super my thing though. Maybe the description and all that Maynard James Keenan is making it more alluring to me. Mystery.

Got an mail from Steel Navel about a sale and how they have a shazzload of new Kaos stuff, so I clicked to right off because they had the Bronze/Black Leopard print eyelets check out how cute they are. But they'd already sold out of them. Hope BAF stocks them sometime in future. <3

Oldish news, but news nonetheless! 11th Doctor has been revealed! Check out this article from the Telegraph about Matt Smith. Hmm. I <3 10th Doctor David Tennant so much, it will be a hard adjustment but am looking forwards to seeing what Matt Smith does. Who am I kidding? I dig 9th Chris Eccleston too. XD I mean come on, right? Wahey. But man, David Tennant! He's my Time Lord. Yes I said it. That's some hot nerdery right there.
